Drop the file in. We open it with real Blender — the same version you use — and tell you what would ruin the render. It takes about forty seconds and costs nothing.
All of it read out of the file itself, not guessed from the name.
The commonest way a render comes back grey. We list them by filename, so you know exactly what to repack.
Cloth, smoke and fluid caches recalculate differently on another machine. If yours aren't baked, you'd get a different animation.
A file saved in a newer Blender than the renderer has will simply refuse to open — usually after you've paid.
Which engine, frame range, resolution and sample count the file actually contains — often not what you remember setting.
Because the file that renders on your machine is not the same thing as the file that renders anywhere else. Your textures sit on your disk at paths only your computer knows. Your caches are in a folder next to the project. Move the .blend — to a farm, to a colleague, to your own laptop — and all of that quietly disappears.
The failure is silent, which is what makes it expensive: the render completes, nothing errors, and the material is just… grey. Usually you find out after the hours are spent.
The fix takes ten seconds — File → External Data → Pack
Resources, then save. The hard part is knowing you need it. That's
the entire point of this page.
Rushframe rents GPUs by the second and splits your animation across as many as your deadline needs. After the check you can ask for a price — we render three real frames from your scene first, free, so the number comes from your file rather than from a table.
